Lafayette Parish Waterworks District North offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late and delinquent fees, please mail your payment timely as LPWDN is not responsible for untimely payments arising from postal service delays. (Please do not send cash through the mail.)
Payment Drop-off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office address. The LPWDN accepts cash, check, or money orders when payments are made directly to LPWDN personnel. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy. The LPWDN also offers a drop box located at the front of the office for either after hours or weekend payments. Note that the LPWDN does not accept cash payments through our drop box.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take several business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information. LPWDN is not responsible for payments not made timely.
Payment On Line
You may pay your bill online by clicking either of the two red boxes labeled “Pay Your Bill Now” on this page. The Lafayette Parish Waterworks District North accepts only credit or debit cards for online bill payment. The LPWDN does not accept gift cards of any type for payment. Customers are cautioned to pay their bill online only through the links provided on our website. See graphic below.
